CLASSROOM BLOCKS

The District Education Officer and the RDC were on an inspection of completed classroom blocks and pit latrines in the Sub Counties of Kalisizo rural and Kirumba where the Public appreciated the works. An increase is expected in the enrollment according to the head teachers of the schools.

NANGOMA HEALTH CENTER III

Nangoma Health center III ia at the final stages of being upgraded from Health center II to Health Center III and soon, the residents will start accessing it. At this moment, the Chief Administrative Officer, Mr Bwayo Gabriel Rogers, the RDC Mr Apollo Mugame and other district staff had gone to make an inspection on the works so that it is not commissioned before thorough finishing.

Ministry of Health inspection at Kalisizo Hospital.

In September,2023, Commissioners from the Ministry of Health; Dr Driwale Alfred, the Assistant Commissioner of health Services: Vaccines & Immunization and Dr Richard Kabanda, the acting Commissioner Health promotion, Education and Health Communication inspected Kalisizo hospital and applauded the health workers for their endless efforts in improving health services in the entire district. 

Wetlands International plants a tree at Kyotera District Headquarters.

Ms Lorna Kobusingye, the Programs Cordinator of Wetlands International plants a tree at Kyotera District Headquarters as a symbol of preserving wetlands and other natural resources in the area and the country at large. Samuka is one of the twelve ramsar sites in Uganda and it is located in Sangobay catchment area. Ms Kobusingye urged Kyotera authorities to preserve the Sangobay catchment area because it has a lot of treasures which will attract tourists and later income.
